AGCO is third largest manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment and
related replacement parts in the world based on annual net sales. The company
was organized in 1990 by an investment group formed by management to acquire
the successor business to the agricultural business of Allis-Chalmers, which began
manufacturing and selling agricultural equipment in the early 1900’s. Today, it
