CURRENT MODELS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

This report examines the industrial lift truck market in North American and serves as an update to our previous report of February 2005. Industrial lift trucks have been in use for nearly 60 years and are considered indispensable on many work sites.  The North American industrial lift truck market participants have seen little change since 2004, with 24 OEMs producing approximately 37 different brand names. Of the 37 brands offered, there are five that offer only electric-powered lifts and only one that offers IC only forklifts. The remaining brands offer both electric and IC-powered lift trucks.
