The crawler dozer (also referred to as “bulldozer”) is an easily recognizable and commonly used piece of equipment on construction sites as well as for land improvement, public utility use, and mining. This type of equipment, which moves on rubber tracks, is characterized by its large blade on the front of the machine. Crawler loaders are similar but rather than the blade have a bucket (or “loader”).
