Headquartered in West Bend, Wisconsin, Gehl began in 1859 as a manufacturer of agricultural products for the dairy and livestock industry. In 1986, Gehl entered the light construction business in an effort to counter fluctuations in agriculture industry. Gehl currently offers an array of compact equipment and related attachments for construction and agricultural applications including skid loaders, telescopic handlers, compact excavators, compact track loaders, all-wheel-steer loaders, and asphalt pavers.
