Doosan Infracore is a South Korean company that purchased Daewoo Heavy Industries & Machinery in 2005 and renamed the company Doosan Infracore (DI). Doosan Infracore is a public company and is part of the Doosan Group in Korea. DII, as it is known, was established in late 2007 following the $4.9 billion acquisition of Bobcat, Utility Equipment and Attachments divisions by Doosan Infracore from Ingersoll-Rand Company. Today, the three entities of Bobcat, Doosan Infracore Portable Power and DII Attachments, are operating as individual businesses of Doosan Infracore International, which is part of the Doosan Group.
