John Deere
has been the world's largest producer of agricultural equipment since 1963 and is a leading producer of construction and forestry equipment. The company and its subsidiaries (collectively called John Deere) manufacture, distribute, and finance a full line of agricultural equipment; a broad range of construction and forestry equipment, and a variety of commercial and consumer equipment. It also is a significant supplier of parts for its own products as well as for other manufacturers. The company also provides credit plans for businesses and the general public.
