Cummins Engine is the largest independent engine supplier to the on-highway truck and off-highway machinery industry. The company designs, manufactures, distributes, and services diesel and natural gas engines, electric power generation systems, and engine-related component products including filtration and emissions solutions, fuel systems, controls, and air handling systems.

Cummins operates four complimentary business segments: Engine Business; Power Generation Business; Components Business and Distributor Business, which all share technology, customers, strategic partners, brands, and distribution networks. Cummins sells its products to OEMs, distributors, and independent customers worldwide through more than 500 company-owned and independent distributor locations with 5,200 dealer locations in more than 190 countries and territories. Some of the company’s largest customers include CNH, Komatsu, Hitachi, Ingersoll Rand, Brunswick, Terex and PACCAR. Cummins is also the exclusive supplier of engines for Komatsu mining equipment.
